Tomorrow i.e., October 17 is a special day for all the Indian women out there, as, on this day; they will be celebrating the much-awaited Karwa Chauth. During this occasion, women observe fast in order to pray for their significant half’s well-being and long life. As much as we can’t wait for this day, a lot of couples from the telly industry, too, are excited to celebrate Karwa Chauth, especially the ones who are going to celebrate it for the first time post their wedding. Ssharad Malhotra and Ripci Bhatia

It was in April that Ssharad Malhotra got hitched to his longtime girlfriend and fashion designer Ripci Bhatia. He revealed that while he has been enacting Karwa Chauth scenes in reel-life, it's a beautiful feeling to celebrate it in real life. Elaborating further on his plans, he said, "It’s great to know that your loved one is going to make you feel special on this day. I love everything about this festival – getting up early to have sargi, phir chaand ko dekhna through a sieve and ending your partner’s fast by giving her water – it’s such a wonderful feeling. I will be heading to my home in Kolkata and plan to fast along with Ripci, though I haven’t told her that yet.”

Pankhuri Awasthy and Gautam Rode

After dating for more than two years, Gautam Rode got hitched to actress Pankhuri Awasthy amid a fairytale-like wedding. The two are among one of the most loved couples of the TV industry. Pankhuri reveals that she will be celebrating Karwa Chauth in Varanasi, as she is shooting for a film over there. Hubby Gautam will be joining her on this auspicious occasion. In fact, he will also be fasting along with Pankhuri.

Sheena Bajaj and Rohit Purohit

Well, it is going to be her first Karwa Chauth, as Sheena Bajaj walked down the aisle this year. For the same, she will be jetting off to her husband Rohit Purohit's hometown Jaipur. Sheena reveals that she is planning to have a grand celebration and she is extremely excited about it and will be wearing a dark red suit or saree. 

Yuvika Chaudhary and Prince Narula

Yuvika Chaudhary and Prince Narula's love story blossomed on Bigg Boss and they have been strong since then. The couple got married last year and will be celebrating it for the first time. Yuvika is absolutely excited, as she says, "This is ideally my first Karva Chauth, as last year, the festival was just after our wedding. I am excited about all the rituals. I love the early-morning part of having sargi and I like the idea behind the festival. Prince pampers and supports me so much." She adds that Prince, too, might keep a fast.

Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa

It's the couple's second Karwa Chauth, but comedian Bharti is as excited as she was for during their first. She revealed that Harsh had surprised her by keeping a fast and that he will be doing something similar this year. "I love celebrating festivals and Karva Chauth is one of them. After breaking the fast, Haarsh surprises me with gifts and I’m eager to know what it’s going to be this year," said the actress.

Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla

Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla always make it point to shell out some major couple goals. The actress revealed that she won't be keeping a fast, but she is surely going to dress up for the festival. Further, the couple will also engage in charity, as they don't believe in fasting on festivals like Teej and Karwa Chauth.
