Rajinikanth Birthday: PM Modi Salutes Superstar At 75, Applauds His Timeless Cinema Legacy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media on December 12 to extend warm birthday greetings to superstar Rajinikanth as the iconic actor celebrated his 75th birthday. In his message, Modi highlighted Rajinikanth’s enduring impact on Indian cinema, noting that the veteran performer’s body of work has not only captivated audiences across generations but also earned widespread admiration throughout the country. 

Modi posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Greetings to Thiru Rajinikanth Ji on the special occasion of his 75th birthday. His performances have captivated generations and have earned extensive admiration. His body of work spans diverse roles and genres, consistently setting benchmarks.” 

The Prime Minister also pointed out that this year marks an important milestone in Rajinikanth’s illustrious career, as he completed 50 years in the film industry. He praised the actor’s consistency in setting new standards in cinema and prayed for his long and healthy life. 

Rajinikanth, affectionately known as “Thalaivar” by his fans, has remained one of India’s most beloved and influential film personalities, with a career spanning multiple decades and diverse roles that have resonated with audiences nationwide.
