Umesh too has set a standard in movies like Ye re Ye re Paise, Pune via Bihar and Lagna Pahave Karun. Varun Narvekar, popular for his film Muramba (2017), Odh (2014) and The Bright Day (2012), has directed this web series. He wanted to depict the nuances in the life of modern-day newlyweds in an urban setting and he found Priya and Umesh ideal for this role.
