The 65th Amazon Filmfare Awards 2020 was hosted in Assam this year on February 15. The star-studded night saw a host of talents getting awarded with the prestigious black lady and a number of power-packed performances. The night recognized the budding talent of the year, Ananya Pandey with The Best Debut Actress. Saiee Manjrekar was also nominated for the same category. While the actress walked the red carpet for the award night she was dressed in a stunning strapless silver gown with a thigh-high slit. The actress was looking smoking hot in the attire and graced the red carpet with her diva-like presence.
Just stepping in the industry, joining the bandwagon of celebrity kids, Saiee Manjrekar’s Bollywood debut of Dabangg 3 just got bigger with this Filmfare nomination. Achieving this recognition with the very first film is regarded as one of the biggest achievement of a newcomer.
Saiee Manjrekar’s nomination was posed opposite Ananya Panday for Student Of The Year 2, Pranutan Bahl for Notebook, Tara Sutaria Student Of The Year 2, Sharmin Segal for Malaal, and Shivaleeka Oberoi Yeh Saali Aashiqui. It must have been a tough call between all the talent given that Dabangg 3 was a roaring success at the box-office.
Mahesh Manjrekar’s Marathi fans were eagerly rooting for Saiee’s victory. The film Dabangg3 was the third film in the Dabangg franchise. Saiee played ‘Khushi’, a younger love interest to Salman Khan’s younger version of ‘Chulbul Pandey’. The film was directed by Prabhudheva and starred Sonakshi Sinha in the leading role opposite Salman. The south superstar Sudeep was in the role of the anti-hero.
