Prasad Oak has taken audiences on a roller coaster ride this year with his remarkable performance in films like Ye Re Ye Re Paisa 2 and Smile Please. After Kaccha Limbu, Prasad is coming up with his new directorial venture ‘Hirkani’ which will be a historical film. 

Prasad recently took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes picture from this film, that raised excitement among his fans. In this post, Prasad is seen sporting a lovely jacket, which is designed and gifted to him by @stylistsaurabhjain


Hirkani, which is slated to release on the 24th of October, will showcase one of the remarkable chapters of history, getting recreated on silver screen. Hirkani, is a story of a mother who risked her life and reputation and was then honoured with the title 'Hirkani' by the most courageous emperor Shivaji Maharaj.

This movie is about that rock solid lady of Maratha history who defined that ‘Motherhood’ is the strongest instinct in a woman, that can even make an emperor bow down in front of her. The entire Marathi industry is gleaming with pride about this warrior mother and Prasad Oak's resolve to recreate her history on silver screen. 
 
The grandeur of this project was evident in its recently released multi starrer song ‘Shiv Rajyabhishek’ which features 9 renowned artists and 6 regional artforms in the praise of Shivaji Maharaj’s Rajyabhishek ceremony. This song garnered more than a million views on YouTube just within a few days after its release, which shows that fans are eagerly waiting for this masterpiece to hit the silver screen.
