Anybody who knows the history of Indian Cinema knows that one of the major keys in making a film or web-series successful is by going for an ensemble cast apart from having a good storyline. And looks like the MX Player's upcoming Marathi web-series Idiot Box ticks both these criteria.
The show which marks the debut of actor Virajas Kulkarni as a Writer/ director along with Jeet Ashok is a romantic dramedy starring Shivraj Waichal and Shivani Rangole as the leading stars. The story is a new age youth romance about a young man named Aakash played by Shivraj who would go to any extent to win back over his lost love Shashwati. He is helped in this rollercoaster journey of him trying to get back his ex-girlfriend by his friend Sayli essayed by Shivani. The show will also see the stellar cast lines of performers like Abhijeet Khandkekar, Pushkar Jog, Spruha Joshi, Sanskruti Balgude, Akshay Tanksale, Pravin Tarde, Mrinal Kulkarni, Sunil Barve and Aashay Kulkarni playing the key roles.
The trailer is already creating a buzz amongst the netizens who are eagerly waiting for the release of the web-series. The series will be streaming on MX Player from the 24th of this month.
