Director Nikhil Mahajan’s upcoming Marathi blockbuster June is one of the most-awaited films of the year. The coming-of-the-age drama set in Aurangabad stars actors Nehha Pendse and Siddharth Menon in the lead roles. The film was selected for the Indian Panorama at the IFFI at the end of 2020. And, now adding more to it the film has recently been selected for the Pune International Film Festival.
Thus, making the announcement of this great achievement, the whole team of June posted a brand new poster on their respective social media handles.

Last year the pandemic affected the film in a very bad way, but the artists never lost their faith and have bounced back with such amazing achievements. Written and directed by Nikhil himself, June is a portrait of two troubled souls trying to heal while helping each other, which is drawn from Nikhil’s childhood and from the ones he knows. Meanwhile, on the work front, Nikhil has one more project coming up. Starring renowned actors like veteran actress Neena Kulkarni, actors Jitendra Joshi, Priyadarshan Jadhav, Sanjay Mone, Gauri Nalawade, and Sakhi Gokhale, the film goes by the name Godavari.
