Dhondiba Balu Karande is the producer and director presenting ‘Palshichi PT’. This story is about the very own P.T. Usha of Maharashtra, Bhagi. Belonging to a shepherd grazing family, being born and brought up in a sturdy environment she became a successful runner. Her journey is no less than any legendary sportsperson.
It is not new that directors seek sportsperson for creating biopics or fictions around their life. This trend is now catching on with the Marathi directors as well. 'Palshichi PT' has a very regional and rustic look that is relatable and will touch audiences. Maharashtra and its sportspersons rarely got the limelight in Hindi cinema for biopics or even fiction films. 'Palshichi PT' will definitely set an example for film makers in Marathi industry to hunt the Marathi sports talent and give them the recognition they deserve.

The film will showcase ‘Lagira Jhala Jee’ fame Kiran Dhane in the role of Bhagi. Kiran was earlier playing a negative role in this serial. This character will give her an opportunity to show versatility in her performance.
