Marathi TV Actor Yogesh Sohoni Waylaid Was Cheated For Rs 50,000 On The Mumbai- Pune Expressway
Marathi actor Yogesh Sohoni got cheated for Rs. 50,000 by an unknown person on the Mumbai-Pune expressway while the actor was in a hurry to reach Pune.
Marathi actor Yogesh Sohoni recently got waylaid and cheated for Rs. 50,000 by an unknown person on the Mumbai-Pune expressway. The incident happened on the 8th of May while Yogesh was on his way to Pune for some urgent work. After which the actor revealed the whole situation in his recent conversation with The Times Of India.
In his conversation, the actor said that last Saturday(8th May), while he was at the Somatne Phata of Mumbai-Pune expressway he was stopped by an SUV driver. The person raised his hand and made him stop the car on the expressway. Then the person in SUV stopped and came to argue with Yogesh. He accused Yogesh’s car of causing an accident with his SUV and he also claimed that a person has got injured in this accident. The actor said that he was shocked after what the SUV driver said, as he didn’t notice such an incident happening.
After accusing Yogesh car of being involved in an accident with his SUV, the person threatened Yogesh saying that he would file a Police complaint. While he was in a hurry to reach Pune, the actor tried to reason with the person but the person demanded 1.25 Lakh from Yogesh. Seeing that Yogesh is in hurry, the person accompanied the actor to the ATM at Somatne, after the actor said that he didn’t have any cash on him. The person made Yogesh withdraw Rs. 50,000 and ran away with his SUV. After the incident, the actor has filed a Police complaint against the SUV driver.
According to the sources, the Police officer associated with this investigation has identified the suspect. The Police are working their way to find the clues and have assured that the actor that the suspect will be caught soon.
