Actor, producer and host Pushkar Shrotri brings home a Tree Ganesha and inspires fans to support this movement of a harmonious festival of Ganpati. This concept is exactly what we need in a world where forests are being cut or burned by humans across the world.
Every year thousands of people bring the idols of Ganapati for Ganesh Chaturthi, celebrate the festival and then immerse it in the seas, lakes or rivers for ‘visarjan’. What people forget is the plaster used in the idols and the chemical-based poisonous colors used for decoration, pollute the water bodies.
