The country is facing a huge crisis for the availability of beds in hospitals during the second wave of COVID-19. There is a foundation called “Youth of India” taking the initiative of “Find A Bed”. The foundation will provide information on the availability of beds in the hospital of the respective city of Maharashtra. They run a campaign in association with celebrities of the Marathi Entertainment Industries.  

 Akshay Bardapurkar is a very popular name in the Marathi entertainment world. He is the man behind launching Planet Marathi, India’s first OTT platform that caters exclusively to the Marathi language. He has launched many newcomers and helped in shaping their acting careers. Presently due to COVID-19, the country is facing a crisis over medical facilities and Akshay has become an ambassador of a campaign called “Find a Bed” to help with the information for COVID-19 patients.  He is an avid social media user and recently on his Instagram handle he updated with information of initiative taken by a foundation to find beds for COVID-19 patients. 

He captioned the post – “Was delighted to learn about this initiative which is the country’s first information repository on beds. You can find your nearest COVID center and also help build one! Glad to do my bit as a Cause Ambassador for an initiative that is by the youth, for the country”. His fans are happy with this move and they are also ready to lend a hand for help. Fans are pouring love with words of appreciation in the comment box.

The most acclaimed Marathi actress Sai Tamhankar also joins hands with the foundation to help COVID-19 patients. She also tweeted the information about how this organization works. The most glamorous Marathi actress Tejasvini Pandit is also one of the faces of a philanthropic cause helping COVID-19 patents. She also can be seen in the campaign “Find a bed” as a “Cause Ambassador”. She updated this information on her tweeter handle and urged people to stay safe. She updated the post with a note- “An initiative by the Youth of India to battle COVID by providing assistance to those who want to build a COVID care center and do their bit for the country. It is a privilege to be associated as a `Cause Ambassador` with this wonderful initiative. Spread the word. Stay Safe U'll”. The fans are overwhelmed with the gesture of the actress and re-tweeting the post to make people aware.

The actors are doing a great job to help the country by supporting the initiative taken by “Youth of India''. As the work of Industry is at a standstill due to the second wake COVID 19 Virus and actors are contributing their bit by motivating people in the battle with COVID-19.
