Sair Sivraj Hai - Swari Afjalkhan: Digpal Lanjekar And Chinmay Mandlekar Present The Fourth Of Shivaji Maharaj Series
The duo Digpal Lanjekar and Chinmay Mandlekar will soon be blessing the Marathi audience with another historical drama based on Shivaji Maharaj, Sair Sivraj Hai - Swari Afjalkhan.
With his blockbuster films Farzand and Fatteshikast, writer-director DIgpal Lanjekar perfectly showed the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Focusing on various prominent stories of Maharaj, the writer-director formed these two master-pieces. And in both of them, actor Chinmay Mandlekar portrayed Shivaji Maharaj amazingly. After touching the heart of every Maharashtrian, the duo Digpal and Chinmay announced another historical drama based on Maharaj, Jang Jauhar. The film is an upcoming film focusing on Shivaji Maharaj’s renowned warrior Baji Prabhu Deshpande. The details of the film’s release haven’t been announced yet, but the duo has already revealed a fourth film based on Maharaj, recently.
Revealing the upcoming film of the Shivaji Maharaj series, Chinmay shared a teaser poster on his Insta handle.
As we can see from the poster, the title of the film is Sai Sivraj Hai - Swari Afjalkhan. From the title and the subtitle of the film, it seems like the film will be based on the legend of Shivaji Maharaj when he killed Afzal Khan. As we can see in the poster, this one is also written and directed by Digpal only. And seeing that Chinmay has shared the poster, it seems like he’ll be playing the role of Shivaji Maharaj in this one as well. The audience seems to have a great response to this film, as we can see through their comments on this post.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Chinmay is busy in the shoot of the sequel of his hit series, Ek Thi Begum. Digpal on the other hand has produced actor Subodh Bhave’s newly started Marathi TV series, Chandra Aahe Sakshila, along with Chinmay.
