Marathi blockbuster movie ‘De Dhakka’ roared at the box office in 2008 with a massive collection of 40 Million in its 3rd week. Actor, director, producer and writer Mahesh Manjrekar is back with a sequel to this blockbuster, ‘De Dhakka 2’ which is all set to recreate its magic in the year 2020. Mahesh Manjrekar recently shared the poster for this film on his Instagram handle.
From the looks of the poster, which shows a placard ‘Welcome to London’, it seems that the film might be shot at foreign locations. ‘De Dhakka 2’ is produced by Yatin Jadhav and Swati Khopkar under the banner of Ameya Vinod Khopkar Entertainment and Skylink Entertainment. This film has been directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and Sudesh Manjrekar. The star cast as revealed in the poster includes Siddharth Jadhav, Makarand Anaspure, Shivaji Satam and Medha Manjrekar.
Inspired by a Hollywood film, ‘Little Miss Sunshine’, Siddharth Jadhav starrer, ‘De Dhakka’ had boosted the business of Marathi film industry in 2008. Actor Siddharth Jadhav also shared his excitement about this film by sharing its poster on his Instagram. ‘De Dhakka 2’ is all set to take the audience on an exciting journey from 3rd January 2020.
