'Swarajya Janani Jijamata': A Historic Tale Of Kingmaker Jijamata Starts Today
Dr. Amol Kolhe’s second creation in the historic series around the life of Shivaji will air on Sony Marathi starting today
'Swarajya Janani Jijamata' is a series based on the life story of ‘Jijabai’, the mother and kingmaker of Shivaji who established ‘Maratha Swarajya’. History regards ‘Jijabai’ as the one who moulded Maratha Samrajya making Shivaji the enabler.
'Swarajya Janani Jijamata' airs today on Sony Marathi giving the viewers an eye-opening view of who ‘Jijamata’ was and how she became the inspiration behind ‘Maratha Samrajya’.
This series is produced by Dr. Amol Kolhe who played the role of ‘Shivaji Maharaj’ in Nitin Desai’s series ‘Raja Shivchatrapati’. He launched his own production house ‘Jagadamb Creations’ under which ‘Swarajya Rakshak Sambhaji’ was the first series created and 'Swarajya Janani Jijamata' will be the second.
The leading actress Amruta Pawar shares a trailer of the series on her Instagram. Amruta Pawar played the role of Neha in the serial ‘Duheri’ on Star Pravah. Her character as ‘Jijamata’ will be a sheer contrast to her role as Neha.
