Veteran Marathi actor Pradeep Patwardhan left for his heavenly abode this morning. He was 52. The actor reportedly died due to a heart attack at his residence at Girgaon in Mumbai. Pradeep’s sudden demise has sent shockwaves across the entire Marathi film Industry. Heartfelt tributes are pouring in for the actor from his ardent fans, eminent leaders, and celebrities on social media.

He was widely known for his outstanding performance in the play ‘Moruchi Mavashi’ which became a huge hit. The play earned him a household name and shot him to prominence. This show helped Pradeep to carve a successful niche for himself in the entertainment industry. The late actor appeared in films like Navara Maja Navsacha and Lavau Ka Laath to name a few. His death has indeed left a huge void in the Marathi film industry.
