Sharad Kelkar's last appearance on the big screen was Om Raut’s Hindi debut directorial movie “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior”. SHrad Kelkar teamed up with Ajay Devgan, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan.
Now the reports are Sharad Kelkar is shooting for his upcoming marathi movie and essaying the role of most popular among warriors named “Baji Prabhu Deshpande”. The movie is based on the life of the great warrior and a general of the Maratha dynasty during the reign of Shivaji Maharaj.
The storyline revolves around the night in Pavankhind, Maharashtra when General Bajiprabhu successfully escapes Shivaji Maharaj from Panhala. The role of Shivaji Maharaj played by Subodh Bhave.
The movie is scheduled to shoot in different locations of Kolhapur, Sangli, and Panhala. The movie is produced under the banner of Shree Ganesh Marketing and Films Dark Prince Pictures.
