This week our guest on 9XM Song secret was the versatile personality Goldie Sohel
On this podcast of 9XM Song Secret, we have a singer-composer- lyricist, Goldie Sohel.
Interestingly, Goldie first thought about his popular number Dil Da Khayal at a time when he was wanting to compose a Ghazal. It took him 2 days to dub the song.
Goldie also shared the story behind ‘Baat Nahi Karni’ which was released during first lockdown in 2020. The song was co-sung by Asees Kaur. Baat Nahi Karni was composed 2 years back. The video of the song was recorded by all on their mobile cameras, following the instructions of the DOP, over the phone.
He also shared the secret behind his latest release ‘Kareeb’ sung by Vishal Dadlani and written by Kunaal Vermaa. It was Goldie’s dream to make Vishal sing for his song.
