9XM SoundcastE – Episode 13 With Clinton Cerejo
Host Eva Bhatt, interacts with the award-winning music producer- composer- singer, Clinton Cerejo, on this week’s episode as he talks about some lesser talked about aspects of music making. i.e.  music ‘production’ / ‘arrangement’

He is the first contemporary Indian musician to be invited to conduct a residency and a Master Class at the Berklee School of Music, Boston. He is the man behind the phenomenal soundtrack & background score of movies like Kahaani, Kahaani 2 & Badla and the Music producer for Vishal Bhardwaj’s classics like 7 Khoon Maaf, Kaminey & Omkara.

In this episode, Cerejo talks about the influence of great western producers like Quincy Jones, Trevor Horn & Stevie Wonder, how he initiated the use of vocal arrangements in Bollywood, western harmony in an Indian music arrangement & the technique of stacking vocals ( and why his sound engineer would call him the ‘track-eating monster’)

Listen to the inspiring journey of Clinton Cerejo, from producing Ad jingles to arranging & designing soundtracks for Bollywood with Vishal-Shekhar, Pritam & A.R. Rahman, right from his recording studio - the Groove Room.
