Composer Rochak Kohli and Galliyan lyricist Manoj Muntashir
have teamed up for yet another romantic melody, Lae Dooba.
The last time they teamed up was for creating a beautiful solo melody named Rozana, from Naam Shabana which was crooned by Shreya Ghoshal. This time the vocals are rendered by Ruki Ruki singer Sunidhi Chauhan.
A Still From The Song Lae Dooba
The song is playing exclusive on 9XM from Dec 30 to Jan 1.
Lae Dooba is quite easy on ears with minimal instrumentation. The best part is that the visuals complement the lyrics and remind you of the old school romance. The song portrays the growing bond between the lead characters Major Jai Bakshi played by Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh, a surveillance officer.
Sidharth Malhotra And Rakul Preet Singh
Sunidhi Chauhan as usual is outstanding with her vocals. The track grows on you.
A few days ago, the makers of the film had released the trailer which looked very promising. The trailer sees Sidharth as an honest and diligent army officer who finds out loopholes in the system and has a dispute with his mentor who is played by Manoj Bajpayee. Sidharth then decides to quit his job and then starts working against ones serving the country. Manoj is hell-bent on stopping Sidharth on going against the country.
The film is all set to hit theatres on January 26, 2018 along with Akshay Kumar’s Padman. Aiyaary is directed by Neeraj Pandey and also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Adil Hussain, Kumud Mishra and Pooja Chopra in pivotal roles.
