Amaal Mallik's tune is not music to Mohit Suri's ears
Amaal Mallik, Tanishk Baghchi and Mithoon were the three music composers who were to be a part of Mohit Suri’s upcoming film Half Girlfriend, produced by Ekta Kapoor. The film is based on a novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat.

The film is based on a novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat. Even before the book was launched, Mohit had bought the rights to turn the book into a movie. The film will star Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. Shooting of the film is about to begin pretty soon in Delhi.
However, from the music scene, Amaal is out. Yes, the musician has been shown the door.

Suri feels that Mallik's song does not go well with the situation of the film. The director is now approaching a few other composers in the industry to step into Mallik's shoes.
Suri and Malik remained unavailable for comment.
Half Girlfriend is set to hit theatres on April 28, 2017.
