Ankit Tiwari Walks Out Of Sweetiee Weds NRI After Fight With Composer Shah Jahan Ali

2017 is shaping up to be a rough year for Ankit Tiwari and after a legal tangle involving the reopening of a 2014 rape charge against him, now he has walked out of a film.

The Sun Raha Hai Na Tu singer walked out of Sweetiee Weds NRI after a tiff with composer Shah Jahan Ali, who had composed one song for the film.

So this is what happened. Ankit Tiwari was approached to sing the song and he went to the recording studio for it.

After recording the complete song, the music composer wanted a few lines to be re-done.  A source close to the project said, “Ankit was miffed with the composer and thus started complaining about how bad the tune was. He went on to find mistakes in the lyrics of the song. Shah Jahan then tried to convince him and asked him to give another shot to the track but Ankit refused to do so. He then went to the producers and asked them to remove the song from the film.”

The source further added that the producer adhered to Ankit’s demand and thus deleted the song from the film.

When we contacted Shah Jahan Ali, he did not deny the story but said, “I cannot elaborate on the matter.” SpotboyE.com also contacted Ankit. He simply brushed aside the topic saying he does not remember the incident.

This is not the first time that the film has been dragged into controversy.  Prior to this we told you about the ugly spat between the director Hasnain Hyderabadwala and the producers Dhaval Patel, Cyrus Dastur, Sada Bhuvad and Tariq Mohammed
