Arijit Singh is way ahead of me, says Shaan
On Tuesday, the Jab Se Tere Naina Shaan launched his first single Tum Ho Toh Lagta Hai, which features Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem. The singer was present at the event along with Zarina Wahab (who also feature in the video), composer Amaal Mallik and T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar.

Shaan was asked if his playback career in films had taken a backseat and if he considers Arijit Singh as his competition. Here's what he had to say, "Its not that I am choosy or I don't want to sing, but everything changes with time. Arijit SIngh is way ahead of me and I would not consider him as my competitor, and trust me, I am very happy for him. He is very talented and people like his voice, so it's good for music. As long as its good for music, it's good for all of us."

At this point, T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar interrupted him saying that 'he (Shaan) would sing in a couple of his films soon'.
The single in question was shot in Goa for 3 days.
