one of the hottest party anthems of the year by 9XM, ‘Bajne Do Night & Day’
to celebrate the World Music Day 2018.
Bajne Do Night & Day brings together popular and renowned singers such as
Shaan, Ankit Tiwari, Jyotika Tangri, Dev Negi, Sabri Brothers, Akriti Kakkar,
Shruti Pathak and Nav Raj Hans. The foot tapping music is composed by
Gourov-Roshin with lyrics by Kunwar Juneja. As we continue our celebration of
World Music Day, we bring you a one-on-one chat with Dev Negi himself. In a
candid tete-a-tete about music, Dev opens up about what music means to him, his
favourite genres and why he decided to be a part of 9XM’s party anthem, Bajne
Do Night & Day.
Talking about the song, the Tan Tana Tan singer said, “Composers Gourav-Roshin
have created a very fun song. It’s groovy and catchy and a very nice track.”
Ask him about his music day ritual and he is quick to add that there is no set
music day ritual for him as he considers everyday as world music day.
Negi also adds that while he has sung a lot of upbeat
numbers in his career, it’s actually the soft retro songs by Kishore Da &
Rafi Saab & sad romantic songs of Sonu Nigam that he likes the most. Negi
also opens up about his experience of sharing screen space with his idol Shaan
