It’s going to be a great amalgamation, when the musical world will blend with the cricket maestro- Sachin Tendulkar.
Rumour has it that Sachin Tendulkar will soon appear on the singing reality show- Indian Idol Season 9. However, Sachin is not trying his hands at singing but will come on the show to promote his biopic- Sachin: A Billion Dreams.
A poster of two men facing their back towards the camera is doing rounds of the social media wherein one of them is seen holding a mic and the other with a bat. Clear enough, one is Sachin Tendulkar and the other is Sonu Nigam. Seems like they are working out the modalities.
According to sources the special episode with Sachin is yet to be shot. The panel of judges Farah Khan, Anu Malik and Sonu Nigam are ardent fans of Sachin and they are equally excited that Sachin will soon be seen on the sets of their show.

In fact, Anu Malik shares a very good rapport with Sachin. He had even blessed Anu Malik’s daughter- Anmoll Mallik before the release of her single Lamhein, last year. Not just this, Anu is often seen attending Mumbai Indians matches during IPL. So, for Sachin it’s like coming home.
Last month, Sachin was also spotted at Sonu Nigam's wedding anniversary party where the singer had also invited the participants of Indian Idol. They all were obviously elated to meet the God of cricket.
Sachin too has been following the singing reality show very closely. He had even tweeted about one of the participants from Arunachal Pradesh - Thupten Tsering, as was impressed with him for being a part of the show despite his physical disabilities.
