Jabariya Jodi Song Khwabfaroshi: Sidharth Malhotra And Parineeti Chopra's Track is About Heartbreak With A Refreshing Rock Twist
An intense heartbreak number titled Khwabfaroshi from the movie Jabariya Jodi is out just 4 days ahead of the film’s release. It showcases Sidharth Malhotra who plays the role of Abhay, who abducts Parineeti Chopra portraying Babli are on the verge of breaking up. Unlike the movie plot, here Abhay abducts Babli instead of the groom in this track; and Babli too doesn’t protest but remains unfazed in her approach. Sung and composed by Sachet Tandon & Parampara Thakur, it is penned by Siddharth-Garima.

The song captures how anger takes over the feeling of love and affection resulting in a split. Sharing the song on her social media handle Parineeti wrote, “The soul-stirring anthem for broken hearts is out! #Khwabfaroshi song out now.” While Sidharth tweeted, “An anthem of love, heartbreak & agony. #Khwabfaroshi song out now!! http://bit.ly/Khwabfaroshi #JabariyaJodi” Though a heartbreak number, the composers have added a rock twist to it, giving it a refreshing feel. Khwabfaroshi is the sixth track from the film been released by the makers.

So far makers have revealed 5 tracks each showcasing different situations in Abhay and Babli’s life. While Khadke Glassy and Zilla Hilela are dance numbers, Dhoonde Akhiyaan and Ki Honda Pyaar are soothing romantic tracks and Machhardani adds a quirky twist to the story.

Just to avoid box-office clash with Sonakshi Sinha's Khandaani Shafakhana, maker pushed the release of Jabariya Jodi by a week’s time, earlier scheduled to release on August 2, it will now release on August 9, 2019. It reunites the lead pair on the silver screen after five years, as they were last seen in Hasee Toh Phasee.
