Late Shravan Rathod's Son Sanjeev Is Feeling Better After Being On Oxygen Support Post Coronavirus Diagnosis; 'The Ordeal Is Not Over Yet'
The Indian Music industry suffered a major shock as music composer Shravan Rathod passed away on April 22. He breathed his last due to health complications following Coronavirus diagnosis. His son Sanjeev and wife Vimla Rathod too had to be hospitalised as they contracted the deadly virus. Now, Sanjeev Rathod has shared that he is recovering well, and is off the oxygen support. He mentioned that his health deteriorated over the past few days and had to be shifted to another hospital.

To Etimes, he said, "The last six-seven days were very bad; my condition had deteriorated. I started feeling breathless and was put on oxygen support. I am feeling better and relieved today, but the ordeal is not over yet." Sadly, he could not take a last glimpse of his father as he tested positive. Fortunately, his mother Vimla Rathod has recovered and is back home.

Talking about the future, Sanjeev Rathod expressed that he would take forward his father's legacy and make music along with his younger brother. "The past few days were very scary for me, my mother, Ritika (wife) and Darshan (brother). I now just want to go home and bring back the legacy of my father and take it to another level. My main focus is going to be to train my son Madhavesh, plus Darshan and I will be making a lot of music together in the days ahead," he said.

Shravan Rathod reportedly visited Kumbh Mela amidst the pandemic, post which, his health deteriorated and he lost the battle of life. Here's a song by Nadeem-Shravan.
