Punjabi Singers Dr Zeus, Jasmine Sandlas & Rapper Ikka Singh Collaborate For A Single

When it comes to party numbers, Dr Zeus, Rapper Ikka Singh and Jasmine Sandlas have made a name for themselves in the genre. Now, for the first time, the trio has collaborated for a single called Party Nonstop (premiered exclusively on 9XM)

"It was my idea and I wanted Jasmine and Ikka to collaborate with me on this single. I sent the tunes of the number to Jasmine and she sent me the vocals in 24 hours. Same goes for Ikka. I told him about the single and he got back to me with the rapping part of it the very next day," said Dr Zeus.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that Ikka and Dr Zeus are working together. The two have worked together earlier.

As for Jasmine, she terms working with the duo – homecoming. "For me, working with Ikka and Zeus is like homecoming. I never felt that I was working. We were just enjoying ourselves," said the Marjawa (Kick) singer, adding that it took the team only a day to create the peppy number and three days to make the video.

Ask Zeus if we will hear more of him in Bollywood – he has earlier worked with Kanika Kapoor on Jugni Ji – the singer said, “I would love to, but if people ask me to change my style of music in order to give me work, it wouldn’t happen.”

For Ikka, Bollywood is scared to experiment. "Yahan par jo chalta hai wahi producer ko chalana hota hai. People here are scared and we are artists, we love different sounds," he explains.

Meanwhile, Ikka and Dr Zeus are all set to collaborate for another single besides Party Nonstop. Jasmine, on the other hand, is currently working on her next single.
