Radhe’s Seeti Maar Singer Kamaal Khan Reveals The Name Of His Song That He Wants To Remake And It Has A Salman Khan Connection-EXCLUSIVE
Salman Khan and singer Kamaal Khan make a highly successful duo who have given dozens of chartbusters together over the years. The iconic collaboration began with the 1998 chartbuster Oh Oh Jaane Jaana from Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, and to add to that iconic discography, the duo recently released two songs from Salman’s upcoming Eid release, Radhe—Seeti Maar and Dil De Diya. Both the songs have been rocking the charts and trending on YouTube.

Seeti Maar is a recreation of the Telugu song by the same name, featuring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde from DJ. When asked about his stand on remakes, Kamaal says, “My personal preference is obviously to sing something new, unless it’s a song like Seeti Maar. I don’t see this song as a remake but as a fresh new song as it is in a different language. As long as you don’t ruin an original or make a disaster out of it, I don’t see anything wrong with remakes,” he says, revealing the name of the song that he is looking forward to remake. “There is one song that I would definitely do as a remake, and I am thinking about it as well. It’s all because a lot of people have been asking for it and there have been many requests for it. It’s Oh Oh Jaane Jaana. I would like to do a modern-day version of that song, maybe this year or by next year. We are talking about it,” he reveals.

Kamaal shares the song that he would like to remake, but is there any song of his that he doesn’t want touched at all? “I don’t think like that for any of my song. Take Oh Oh Jaane Jana for example, it’s an iconic song and there will be people who would say not to touch it as it’s perfect. But I feel that if you can recreate something and make it more current, appealing to the new generation that isn’t much into listening to the music of the ’80s and ’90s, that sounds interesting to me. You are giving something unfamiliar and new to them,” he asserts.

So, any other song for recreation on his mind? “If I sit and think, I might think of many such songs, but for now, it’s only Oh Oh Jaane Jana on my mind,” Kamaal concludes.
