Music directors Toshi-Sharib admit that they have been ‘inspired’ by Dillon Francis & DJ Snake’s Get Low
While the song, composed by Toshi-Sharib, has grabbed a lot of attention, what has also come to light is its striking similarity to Dillon Francis and DJ Snake’s Get Low, which was part of last year’s super-hit Hollywood film, Furious 7.
While the entire song has not been copied, the opening bit and the theme of the track sounds very similar to the Hollywood song (check the videos at the top). The ‘tukda’ runs for about 20 seconds thrice in the track.
So, has the composer duo bought the rights of the track from Dillon and DJ Snake? Sharib told SpotboyE, “We have not bought the rights of the song, but yes, we have been inspired by it.”
