Shakti Kapoor snaps at Sonu Nigam

Here’s what happened:
Actor Govinda was being felicitated and a few singers and actors, including Aditi Singh Sharma, Bhoomi Trivedi and Shaktiji, were asked to speak a few words about Chi Chi. Needless to say, the singers rendered some of Govinda’s hit numbers.
Shakti ended his speech with, “If my daughter (Shraddha Kapoor) can sing, even I can,” and he started crooning an old song, Lal Chidiye Ud Na Jana. When Sonu jokingly asked him the meaning of the lyrics, the senior actor snapped at him saying, “I never interfered while you were talking, so better let me talk."!
This unexpected reply left everyone, including the singer, shocked. However, Sonu quickly regained his composure and continued hosting as if nothing had happened.
An eyewitness said, “Shakti looked a little high, but Sonu managed the situation well. Being such a senior actor, shouldn't Shakti have remembered that he was talking about Govinda and his daughter on stage?|"
When contacted, Shakti Kapoor quipped, “It’s okay. I think it was all done in good humour.”
The singer, on the other hand, chose not to talk about the incident.
