Monali Thakur's Father Succumbs To A Massive Heart Attack; Harshdeep Kaur And Others From Music World Offer Condolences
Singer Harshdeep Kaur mourns the death of fellow singer Monali Thakur's father Shakti Thakur
Singer Monali Thakur lost her father Shakti Thakur to a massive heart attack which he suffered at the age of 73, on October 5, 2020. Unfortunately the singer was in Switzerland when he father breathed his last, hence she took to her Instagram account and penned a long note, remembering her father. Along with her heartfelt note, she also shared couple of pictures of them. The pictures had the late singer Shakti Thakur in his young as well old age, happily posing for the camera.
Mourning his death was Monali's fellow singer Harshdeep Kaur, she commented on Monali's long Instagram post, "Extremely sorry for your loss. May God give you strength," followed by joined hand emoji. In her Instagram note, while she informed of her father being no more, she penned down a list of his virtues, which made his stood apart from the rest and how catching up to his level of thinking was kind of a chase for many. "My father, my all.. the core of my existence, my biggest critic and cheerleader and my Teacher.. the Angelic hand above my head.. amar Baba.. physically left us yesterday.. I had never seen a more kind hearted and a more humble person in my life.. not jack of all trades but truly master of many.. his humility surprised me throughout my life.. a brain too efficient for others to catch up to him..,” wrote Monali.
Crediting him for making her capable to dream, she further added how he used to cast spell on people with his talent. Hence, even though she is sad and low, she is definitely a proud daughter to her father.
