Looks like Sonu Nigam is on the path of self-realisation. The singer is currently touring across the US, as part of Klose To You concert, which also features Atif Aslam.
A couple of days ago, Sonu broke down on stage, overwhelmed by the audience’s response during his first live performance after his knee surgeries (Sonu Nigam Gets Emotional At His First Live Appearance After Injury, Sep 18).
Sonu got emotional once again, early today. He began by tweeting his pain over Sunday’s terrorist attack against the Indian Army in Uri (Kashmir).
In a philosophical vein, the singer went on to talk about how futile it is to compete with contemporaries. Sonu even admitted that he was quite aggressive when he started off his career, but has now realised that it is a waste of time. Read the full post here:
Sonu will soon be seen judging the 7th instalment of reality show Indian Idol. He will be teaming up with Anu Malik on the show, after almost a decade. They were last seen together on the same platform in 2006.
