Another song from Udta Punjab has been released. Featuring Alia Bhatt, it is a soulful number.
The song, titled Ikk Kudi, traces the journey of Alia’s character -- a Bihari migrant worker.
Composed by Amit Trivedi, the track has been rendered by Diljit Dosanjh, who plays a cop in the film.
Udta Punjab also features Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film has received 89 cuts from the Censor Board, which include a change in the movie's title. Producer Anurag Kashyap has express dissent over the CBFC's recommendation, and plans to move the Mumbai High court for the same.
Udta Punjab is supposed to release on June 17.
