There have been various takes of musicians on Vande Mataram. Amaal Malik has come up with his version of the National Song for Akshay Kumar’s Airlift. Tu Bhoola Jise is high on patriotism.
This is possibly one of the best songs that KK has sung in the recent past. The lyrics by Kumaar are apt and bring out the feeling of ‘being Indian’ in you impeccably.
Akshay and Nimrat Kaur are seen trying to escape from the clutches of soldiers, and unite all other Indians under one roof. The film is inspired from the real life incident from 1990, where Indian government went ahead and rescued over 1,70,000 Indians from Kuwait, during the Iraq invasion. Till date it’s considered India’s most successful evacuation operation.
The film is all set to release on the Republic Day weekend.
