Toilet-Ek Prem Katha’s Hans Mat Pagli: Akshay Kumar & Bhumi Pednekar’s Romance Is Captivating
Here’s a treat for Akshay Kumar’s fans. The first song from his upcoming release, Toilet-Ek Prem Katha is out. The melody, titled Hans Mat Pagli has been crooned by Sonu Nigam.
 
Excited to unveil the first song of the film, Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter account and posted, "Keshav aur Jaya Ki unique love story ka first song, #HansMatPagli out now --> (sic)."


The song showcases Keshav's (Akshay Kumar) love at first sight with Jaya (Bhumi Pednekar). Like a secret admirer Keshav is seen chasing his ladylove from a distance while secretly falling in love with her. He is adorably trying to woo Jaya in the song.
 
Toilet- Ek Prem Katha is set in rural India and the trailer introduces us to Akshay Kumar’s character, a man who will do anything to find him a wife, even marry a buffalo to ward off the ill effects of his kundli. Bhumi is a feisty small town girl and they fall in love and get married. But soon she realises that her husband’s home does not have a toilet. 


Their love story hits a roadblock when Bhumi refuses to perform her morning ablutions in the open and demands a toilet. What follows is a revolution of sorts with Akshay and Bhumi leading it.
 
The film has been much talked about and highly praised by honourable PM Narendra Modi. The film’s trailer, which released a few days back, got a glowing recommendation from none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He had also retweeted a link to the trailer. Akshay Kumar graciously thanked PM Modi for his gesture.
