Diljit Dosanjh, Shehnaaz Gill and Sonam Bajwa-starrer upcoming Punjabi film ‘Honsla Rakh’ is one of the most anticipated movies of this year. The trailer of Amarjit Singh Saron’s directorial was released yesterday and it has left everyone mighty impressed. Ardent fans of Shehnaaz especially have been showering heaps of praise, support and love on her for her brilliant stint in the teaser. Be it her glamorous look, perfect comic timing or chemistry with Diljit Dosanjh, netizens have loved every bit of her in the trailer.

The love and support matter to Shehnaaz even more now, as she has been inactive on social media since the love of her life, Sidharth Shukla's untimely demise. The Bigg Boss 13 winner breathed his last in the wee hours of September 2, reportedly in her lap. Shehnaaz has since been in a state of denial and shock. The two were reportedly planning to tie the knot in December this year.

Shortly after the trailer was released, #ShehnaazGiII started trending on Twitter with her fans applauding her work - despite her not sharing the trailer on her social media accounts. While many said that they are proud of the actress, others praised Shehnaaz’s signature walk in the trailer. The trailer revolves around Diljit, who while dating Shehnaaz, gets her pregnant and takes complete custody of the child. Later, he falls in love with Sonam Bajwa and as the duo is about to get married, Shehnaaz makes a re-entry into his life leaving everything going upside down for Diljit.

Honsla Rakh will mark Diljit Dosanjh’s debut as a producer and Shehnaaz’s comeback to Punjabi films. The movie, which also stars Gippy Grewal’s son, Shinda, is slated to hit theatres on October 15, 2021.
