Babbal Rai and Gippy Grewal will soon to be seen sharing the big screen in the film 'Maa'
Punjabi entertainment lovers are on cloud nine as many of the awaited films are getting theatrical release dates this season. Few of the films are already released and running well in the theaters and few movies are getting new release dates. Babbal Rai and Gippy Grewal starrer ‘Maa’ is one of the films while gets a new release date for the upcoming release session.
The title of ‘Maa’ suggests that the plot of the film is based on a mother and that is why the film is releasing around Mother’s Day 2020 weekend. It is going to hit the theaters on May 6th, 2022. The film features Babbal Rai and Gippy Grewal, Aarushi Sharma, and Divya Dutta in the lead. Babbal Rai is playing a character of a sportsman in the film and he recently took to his social media handle to unveil the release date of the film. “On Mother’s Day 2022, bringing a special gift for all the mothers #Maa Worldwide Releasing On 6th May 2022” Babbal wrote along with a new poster of the film.
‘Maa’ is directed by Baljit Singh Deo and written by Rana Ranbir. The film was supposed to hit the theaters on Mother’s Day 2020 but due to the pandemic and extended lockdown, the release gets postponed.
Meanwhile, along with this film, Babbal Rai has other films pending to be released too. He will be next seen in the film ‘Posti’. The release date of this film is not announced.
