Dhanush Starrer Karnan To Release In April 2021; Director Mari Selvaraj Drops Teaser Announcement Video - WATCH
After the COVID-19 lockdown, finally many filmmakers are making the announcement of their upcoming movies. One of it is Dhanush starrer Karnan, helmed by Mari Selvaraj, the film will release in April 2021. The director made an official announcement on his Twitter handle, along with sharing a poster of the movie. It features Dhanush standing on rock, with people cheering for him standing at the foot of a rock like structure. In the poster he is seen sporting a lungi with a black vest, he is also seen holding a sword in his hand. 

Taking to his Twitter account, the director wrote in his tweet, “Delighted to present the 'AnnouncementTeaser'of #Karnan”. The director dropped a teaser announcing the release month. The teaser has Dhanush running towards the peak of a rocky structure, with sword in his hand, followed by celebratory music played in the background. Also as he reaches the peak, he is seen signaling someone and lifting his sword that hints at the actor about to kill someone.  The filmmaker freezes the frame, following by April 2021 appearing in the teaser video.

The movie has set high expectations, this rural drama stars Gauri Kishan in the key role, with Malayalam actor Lal to be seen in a Kannada film. Few weeks ago, the actor dropped candid pictures from the movie sets as he announced the wrap up of the movie. In his social media post he thanked everyone from the production banner to technicians to music composer and his co-stars as well.

His Tweet read, “#karnan shoot completed. Thank you Mari selvaraj for giving me this. Thank you @theVcreations thanu sir for the support. Sincere thanks to all my co stars and technicians.
