Malayalam Actor And Filmmaker Vijay Babu Arrested In Sexual Assault Case-DETAILS BELOW!

Malayalam actor and producer Vijay Babu has been making it to the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The 46-year-old filmmaker has been arrested in an alleged sexual assault case.
He was arrested when appeared before Ernakulam South police station for questioning. According to reports, he was granted anticipatory bail by the Kerala High Court, on June 22, 2022. Vijay Babu was reportedly booked for sexual assault after a woman, who is also an actor, accused him of sexually abusing her for movie roles.
Meanwhile, when the anticipatory bail plea was granted, the Kerala HC asked him not to leave the state and to submit his passport.
The investigation team was granted permission to question him starting Monday till July 3 from 9 am to 6 pm. On Monday, the Association for Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) extended support to him, saying any action would be taken only after the court's judgement.
The actor is also accused of revealing the identity of the complainant, a young actor, through social media.
Vijay Babu had left for Dubai at the end of April, around the same time a woman filed a case of sexual assault against him. The actor fled the country after Kochi Police registered a case against him. Vijay Babu returned to Kochi on June 1, after being away from the country for 39 days, reported India Today.
