Sunny Teaser OUT: Malayalam Actor Jayasurya's 100th Film Directed By Ranjith Sankar To Have An OTT Release; Set To Have Global Premiere On 23 September
The suspense drama titled Sunny starring Jayasurya will release on Amazon Prime Video this month. The film is produced by both Ranjith Sankar and Jayasurya under the banner of Dreams N Beyond.
On Wednesday Amazon Prime Video announced the exclusive global premiere of the awaited film Sunny. The suspense drama film is directed by Ranjith Sankar and stars Jayasurya. Sunny will mark the actor and directors' eighth collaboration, this will be also his 100th film for the Jayasurya. It will stream on Amazon Prime Video from 23 September.
Produced by both Ranjith Sankar and Jayasurya under the banner of Dreams N Beyond. The film focuses on a single character named Sunny (Jayasurya), who has lost everything that he earned in his life - his love, his money, and his best friend. Shattered and hopeless, he smuggles himself back from Dubai to Kerala in the midst of a global pandemic and shuts himself from society. Deeply stuck in an emotional turmoil and while killing himself softly and slowly, Sunny befriends a couple of curious strangers over the course of seven days, who change his perspective. Paired with the most soulful background score the film has in store a perfect blend of drama and suspense, right till the end, promising to be a great watch.
