Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar enjoys a huge fanbase due to his down-to-earth personality and versatile performances. Despite his rare social media presence, he continues to win the hearts of the audience. His admirers were left shocked when reports of his hospitalisation started doing rounds on social media. As per a recent report by the Free Press Journal, he was hospitalised in Chennai and undergoing treatment for nerve swelling. The actor’s spokesperson has now shared a health update regarding him. 

According to the report by the FPJ, the 52-year-old actor’s spokesperson, Suresh Chandra, dismissed the reports stating that Kumar was suffering from a brain cyst. For those who don’t know, the reports of the Thunivu actor undergoing brain surgery started resurfacing when he was spotted outside a private hospital on Thursday along with his wife Shalini. Shedding light on his health condition, Chandra stated that the actor would be discharged in a couple of days. It was further revealed that he wad admitted to the hospital for a general examination. Quoted by the media publication, the spokesperson informed Zoom, “Ajith sir got admitted to the hospital for a general examination. There was undue swelling in the nerve connecting his ear to the brain. Doctors got rid of it now with a simple medical procedure. On the work front, Ajith Kumar was last seen in H Vinoth’s Thunivu, which became one of the highest-grossing films in 2023. He will be next seen in the action-thriller Vidaa Muyarchi. The Magizh Thirumeni directorial also stars Arjun Sarja and Trisha Krishnan in pivotal roles. It is being heavily reported that the actor will be collaborating with director Adhik Ravichandran for a film. Fans are eagerly waiting for an official announcement about the same.
