Rajinikanth’s upcoming blockbuster movie Annaathe has moved to next stage and started shooting in Chennai.  Siva is the director of the movie and other prominent star casts are writer and actor Vela Ramamoorthy Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Khushbu and Meena. The official announcement of joining Annaatthe of Jagapathi Babu is getting viral on many social media platforms. The Twitter handle of Rajinikatnh’s fans has recently updated the news. The post is captioned as –“ #JagapathiBabu officially joins the cast of #Annaatthe and it will be his 3rd film with Superstar #Rajinikanth and his 2nd film with director Siva.”

Rajinikanth announced the new star cast in Annaatthe to join of Jagapathi Babu. Rajinikanth and Jagapathi Babu were associated previously in Lingaa.  Jagapathi Babu is also part of Labaam a directorial movie of late SP Jhananathan. ‘Laabam’ is under progress of post-production process. 

The music of the movie is composed by D Imman. The story of the movies rounds about the relation between a brother and sister. The shooting of Annaathe was put on hold in 2020 due to few crew members found positive of Corona Virus and the makers have now announced the resume the shooting post election in Tamil Nadu. Movie is slated to show on big screen on November 4, 2021.
