Recently, director Ravikumar also tested positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, the young director has recovered fully from the fatal virus and he urged people not to avoid the symptoms if they occurred. The director shared important information about dealing with COVID-19 on his Facebook post. He advised his followers about taking the right care during infection and he also shared his experiences with his fans about how the virus affected him. The most important bit of information he shared was that he was not an asymptomatic patient and had mild symptoms like a runny nose and no serious allergies. Due to these deceptive symptoms, he was not very concerned about it. It was only later when his doctor confirmed, he discovered it is COVID. Soon after that he was home quarantined.

His three-year-old daughter Narumugai was diagnosed positive later and they both were home quarantined. The wife of director Priya put all her efforts for the speedy recovery of both Ravikumar and Narumugai. He mentioned the name of his family doctor, Dr. Varaprashanth, who was also very helpful during his illness. Ravikumar also explained that it is important to have a blood/swab test for an early diagnosis.

Another valuable piece of advice from R Ravikumar is, the first 7 days of the infection are crucial as not getting the right help and medication can be fatal. He summed up his post by repeating that the need of the hour is early testing and isolation to prevent further spread and beat the virus.
