Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5: Kamal Haasan To Continue Hosting The Show For The Upcoming Season
Tamil reality show Bigg Boss which started in 2017 has been hosted by Kamal Haasan for the past 4 seasons. The last season ended in January this end.
A couple of months back, it was reported that Silambarasan TR will join as the host for the new season, as the actor turned politician Kamal Haasan would be busy with his political commitments. However, the latest news suggests that the actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan will continue to host Bigg Boss Tamil 5. Though there hasn't been any official announcement made, it is said that Kamal Haasan has already signed a contract with the makers to host the reality show for the fifth time. The new season is set to begin in the next few months
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan awaits the release of Indian 2 with Shankar, which is currently on hold due to some issues. The actor also has Vikram which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film is an action thriller and also features Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. Kamal is playing an aged cop who has to protect a witness played by Antony Varghese from the gangster played by Vijay Sethupathi. Whereas, Fahadh Faasil plays a corrupt cop who helps Vijay Sethupathi as per reports.
While Silambarasan TR will be next seen in Venkat Prabhu’s Maanaadu, Pathu Thala, Nadhigalile Neeraadum Sooriyan. Just two weeks back the actor's film Eeswaran crossed 100m views on Youtube. Silambarasan TR is the essaying role of the protagonist. The movie also stars Nandita Shwetha, Nidhi Agerwal among others.
