Chinmayi Sripada Responds To The Deleted Scene In Vijay Chandrasekhar's Master
Vijay Chandrasekhar's latest movie Master has been gaining a lot of attention since its release. The film was first released in theaters but since theaters aren't available in many cities, the director of the film decided to release the film on the OTT platform too. A recently viral deleted scene of the film broadcasted by the OTT shows the incident of how college politics takes a turn leading to harassment of a female youth leader. Vijay Chandrasekhar as JD takes a stand that pushes the patriarchal norms of society.

In this deleted scene JD takes the victim girl, played by Gauri Kishan, to the principal's office and questions 'why should women take the blame for every crime which is done against them?' As a result one of the culprit's mother realizes the gravity of the crime her son has committed and she calls the police to arrest him.

Chinamyi Shripada who has been fighting for the #MeToo victims and has been trying to bring them justice shared her thoughts on Twitter by saying '' So glad the director wrote this scene. Someday the survivor will no longer be blamed for sexual harassment. Until then we wait. And keep speaking up despite Vairamuthus and Radha Ravis and MJ Akbars of the world. Not to mention everyone else that stands with molesters."

Meanwhile, in the movie, this scene is replaced and Vijay is chasing the culprits in a bus and metro train and preventing them from escaping. No one knows why director Lokesh and his team decided to delete the scene but many actors and the audience are praising team master for the deleted scene.
