Karthik Subbaraj's upcoming film 'Chiyaan 60' is currently the talk of the town. As revealed by the director, Santosh Narayanan has replaced Anirudh. He took to his Twitter account and wrote, "Yes...It's A Santhosh Narayanan Musical!! Welcome to the Gang @Music_Santhosh Thanks @anirudhofficial for your understanding & Support... #Chiyaan60 shoot starts from TODAY... Need all your Support, Blessings and Love Folded hands (sic)".

Also, on the other hand, the father and son duo, Vikram and Dhruv have started shooting for the film. As soon as the latest announcement was made by Karthik Subbaraj, fans are now all the more excited for the upcoming project.

For the uninitiated, tentatively titled Chiyaan 60 is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio. As revealed in the tweet, music director Anirudh Ravichander was earlier brought on board, however, he was later replaced with Santhosh Narayanan. What makes the project even more exciting is that Vikram and Dhruv will be sharing screen space for the first time. 


The movie was announced last year and the makers also shared the first look. It created a huge buzz and increased the excitement level among all the fans. For the unversed, the poster shows a man handing over his gun to a child. As per many reports, Vikram will be seen essaying the role of an ageing gangster while his son, Dhruv will play his younger version.
