Dhanush, who has just finished acting in Karthik Narain's 'Maran', is set to star in 'Dhanush 44' directed by Mitran Jawahar. Dhanush, Rashi Khanna, Nithya Menon, and Priya Bhavani Shankar play the heroines. Bharathiraja and Prakash Raj play the lead roles. Anirudh composes the music.
Filming for the film, which is being produced by Sun Pictures, starts tomorrow. In this regard, the film's production company Sun Pictures has officially announced that the title of the film 'Dhanush 44' will be released tomorrow (6th August) at 6 pm. D44 also marks the reunion of the chartbuster combo Dhanush and Anirudh. Fondly called DNA by fans, the dynamic duo is all set to join hands after 6 years. Dhanush will be romancing three heroines in this untitled flick. Legendary director Bharathiraja and veteran actor Prakash Raj are part of the casting coup.

On the work front, Dhanush's Hollywood debut with the Avengers makers 'The Gray Man' has wrapped filming and shaping up for a Summer 2022 release, and the multi-talented actor's 'Maaran' is in the final stages of shooting.
