Dhanush's Next Titled Maaran, Makers Unveil The First Look Of The Actor From The Film On His Birthday

Directed by Karthick Naren, Maaran also stars Malavika Mohanan as the female lead. It also features Mahendran, Samuthirakani, Smruthi Venkat, and Krishnakumar in pivotal roles.

Dhanush's Next Titled Maaran, Makers Unveil The First Look Of The Actor From The Film On His Birthday

The news that we have been waiting for is finally here. The title of Dhanush's next and the first look of the actor has been released by the makers on the occasion of his 38th birthday.  The announcement was shared by the director Karthick on his social media handle today as he tweeted the first look of Dhanush. “His courage is his weapon proudly presenting the first look of #Maaran … Happy birthday (sic),” tweeted Karthick, while unveiling the poster. The poster features an angry-looking Dhanush who is all set for a fight.

Ever since the commencement, Dhanush's fans have been asking for an update about the film, and as soon as the makers released the first look, needless to say, has gone viral among fans. Reportedly, both Dhanush and Malavika play journalists in this action thriller. The cast and crew of the film resumed shooting for the final schedule in July in Hyderabad and are expected to wrap the shoot in the coming days. Writer duo Sharfu and Suhas who wrote Varathan have scripted Maaran. And the film is bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films.



Meanwhile, Dhanush was last seen in director Karthik Subbaraj’s Jagame Thanthiram which released on Netflix. Apart from Maaran, Dhanush has quite a good line of films. He has Selvaraghavan's film Naane Varuven and Trilingual film with Sekhar Kammula and Hollywood film The Gray Man.
