Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is one of the most loved stars of Bollywood. The actress is currently busy working on her upcoming film, Ponniyin Selvan. Aishwarya along with the entire team recently completed shooting for the movie in Puducherry. And now, the team has taken off to Hyderabad for the period drama's final schedule.
As per a report in ETimes, mani Ratnam will shoot for some intense scenes with Aishwarya Rai Bachchanm Jayam, Trisha and Karthi. Other than that, the entire cast of Ponniyin Selvan will also reportedly shoot for a special song in Hyderabad. Talking about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's character, in Ponniyin Selvan, we will see her essay a double role, that of princess Nandini, and her mother, queen Mandakini Devi.
Fans are looking for forward to the film. A couple of days ago, Aishwarya shared a new poster and left fans all excited. Sharing the picture, she wrote in the caption, "The Golden Era comes to Life. Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. PS1." Fans shared their excitement. One wrote, "Waiting for your appearance in it.. Aishwarya madam," another dropped a comment saying, "Eagerly waiting Nandini Devi." While Aishwarya Rai was shooting in Puducherry, she was accompanied by husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya. The trio had also paid a visit to R Sarathkumar's family. R Sarathkumar's daughter Varalaxmi shared photos and penned an appreciation post for the Bachchans.
