The most awaited film of Dhanush Jagame Thandhiram’s trailer to release on 1st June. Netflix announced it on Twitter today. Ever since the makers released the teaser in February fans had been waiting with bated breath for the trailer. The action-thriller stars Dhanush, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and James Cosmo, while Joju George and Kalaiyarasan portray supporting roles. The film has been in news ever since its announcement and the biggest highlight has been Dhanush's rowdy avatar. The actor will be seen in the role of a gangster. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj the film is scheduled to release on 18th June 2021 on Netflix, along with dubbed versions in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
Today, Netflix tweeted saying that the film’s trailer would come your way on June 1. Jagame Thandhiram was originally supposed to release in cinemas on May 1, 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic. While the makers initially planned to release the film only in theatres, this decision was dropped in February 2021 and later announced as an exclusive OTT release on Netflix.
The film is high on action, and the film's shooting has taken place across London, Madurai, and Chennai. The music of Jagame Thandhiram has been scored by music director Santhosh Narayanan and the project is bankrolled by Shashikanth of YNot Studios.
On the other hand, Dhanush is currently shooting in the US for his Hollywood project The Gray Man along with Ryan Gosling and Chirs Evans. The action-packed thriller film is directed by ace filmmaker the Russo Brothers.
